Worshiping God

Everly's Verse of Worship

Written for a friend, Carol Miles, because she is emotional and cries easily.

Angels Are Crying

The angels in heaven are crying today

‘Cause you didn’t take time out to pray.

You went on your way, with no thought of the Lord

And the angels began crying with one accord.

The angels in heaven are crying today;

You forgot about God as you went on your way.

You didn’t take time the Bible, to read

And you didn’t tell Jesus about your great need

Or thank Him for the blessings you daily receive.

Matthew 13:58

58And he did not many mighty works there because of their unbelief. (KJV)

Acts 2:16-18

16But this is that which was spoken by the prophet Joel; 17And it shall come to pass in the last days, saith God,I will pour out of my Spirit upon all flesh: and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams: 18And on my servants and on my handmaidens I will pour out in those days of my Spirit; and they shall prophesy: (KJV)

1 Corinthians 6:19-20

19What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own? 20For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God's. (KJV)

1 Thessalonians 5:19

19Quench not the Spirit. (KJV)

Matthew 13:54-58

54And when he was come into his own country, he taught them in their synagogue, insomuch that they were astonished, and said, Whence hath this man this wisdom, and these mighty works? 55Is not this the carpenter's son? is not his mother called Mary? and his brethren, James, and Joses, and Simon, and Judas? 56And his sisters, are they not all with us? Whence then hath this man all these things? 57And they were offended in him. But Jesus said unto them, A prophet is not without honour, save in his own country, and in his own house. 58And he did not many mighty works there because of their unbelief. (KJV)

2 Timothy 3:1-5

1This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come. 2For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, 3Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good, 4Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God; 5Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away. (KJV)

James 1:6

6But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed. (KJV)
